Add Sublime Text 2 context menu to file browser – Windows 7

While at work I have been using Sublime Text 2 for all coding, first I tried to use notepad++ and found it lacking ( I was a long time textmate user previously ). After a few weeks of using ST2 I found I enjoy using it more than textmate, and it is cross platform so that is a huge win.

One feature I wanted was the context menu when clicking on files and folders in the file browser. This morning I worked a bit on a .reg file that adds this to windows explorer.

  • Upon right clicking a folder a context option is added to open this folder as a project in sublime text 2.
  • Upon right clicking a file a context option is added to open this file in sublime text 2.

Find the .reg here : https://gist.github.com/iaian/5265136

Please leave me a comment if you have any ideas on improving it.
