Today is my birthday and as such I figured this would be a good time to post some pictures from the recent alaska trip. A quarter century of existence warrants a post with some decent content!
Here are some of my favorites, shown in order taken ( from the beginning of the trip to the end ). This picture was taken on the train from Anchorage to Talkeetna:

This next picture was taken at Jeff King’s dog sled training camp. My mom holding a baby alaskan husky.
The next day we headed off on a nature tour of Denali national park. We saw a bear cross right infront of our bus (no pictures sorry). Also we got to see our first glimpse of Denali peak, the highest mountain in north america.
Next picture is of our accommodations at the Talkeetna lodge, first one is of hannah on the bed, next one is of the view outside our window.
After resting and exploring the lodge we went on a float trip. I took many pictures but here are my favorites. First a beaver dam.
At the end of the float trip we had an amazing view of Denali
Later that night ( around 10 – 11 pm ), I got an amazing shot of Denali from the Talkeetna Lodge
That is it for this post, I’m guessing this alaska trip should be a three or four part post.
To be continued..
