Reading for today

Some interesting Articles I was reading today..

Also I watched a video of a talk done by Rasmus Lerdorf, the creator of php.

Very Interesting, also gives some hints on speeding up a php site. He talks about when he first started what became php in 1993, just as a C built library for building web sites as quickly as possible. Also a quote from the video: “screw the French” – when talking about using the back-slash / , because the French keyboard shortcut for back-slash is shitty HA.

Also read a very entertaining and inspiring article about a dude who learned how to make cool little games in 6 months! Overall for where that guy started at I am very impressed, he made some really cool little games and learned SO much in six months.
